The Institute for Global Electronic Commerce , drawing expertise and input from the corporate and university communities, is designed to promote the electronic transmission of commercial transactions through the connection of companies and universities and through the creation of new entities. It is of necessity multidisciplinary and represents the leadingedge thinkers and performers in the paperless world of commerce. The scope of the Institute is to foster a multidisciplinary educational and research program that covers such areas as Computer and Information Sciences and Technology, Law, and Business.
