VECTEC provides support to various nonprofit groups including the Hampton Roads and Eastern Shore Chapters of the American Red Cross, The Tidewater Association for Hearing Impaired Children, Peninsula Food Bank and the Eastern Shore Literacy Council. To promote economic competitiveness and development by sponsoring, developing and implementing electronic commerce activities and programs to include rural areas throughout the Commonwealth of Virginia. VECTEC places special emphasis on delivering ecommerce technologies and services to Virginias small and medium size businesses.The main office is located on the 3rd floor of the CNU Business and Technology Center on the corner of Warwick Boulevard and Hiden Boulevard in Newport News, Virginia.
